It REALLY damages your hair, even if you only use it a few times a week!This hair straightener is effective but it is worth looking into buying a different one. Save your hair! The ends of my hair became really brittle and damaged.

This iron did straighten my fine curly hair pretty well, but it left fly aways and my hair still felt dry. It didn't heat up very fast and the plates were not exactly lined up so there is a slight gap on one side which is causing it to pull my hair. I only used this iron once and I am returning it before it starts to really damage my hair like one of the other reviews I have read.

I got this in the Tourmaline Ceramic version (red plates) and I love it. I think it's just as good if not better as the Chi my hairdresser uses on me. Really makes my hair straight and shiny and it STAYS that way all day. I got it at 50% off this price so I really feel like I got a fantastic bargain. It's right up there with the $100 ones in performance.

I bought this straightener a few months ago at a salon supply store. I bought it because it was ceramic and had thinner plates than any other straightener I'd used. I bought it after my straiaghtener had unexpectadly broken so I went in blindly. I spent about an hour in the store trying to figure out which straightener would be best for my hair. So I picked this one. I took it home and went to straighten my hair and it straightened really well. Except it pulled out more hair than usual, a lot more from the root. My hair looked okay, but there were a lot of flyaways and frizz. I didn't think anything of it. As I poceeded to use this straightener for the following 2 months, I noticed that my hair was getting more and more brittle. The straightner was literally killing my hair, and I wasn't even using it every day. My hair broke off and split and basically I have a head full of dead hair that I can't do anything about because of this straightener. I have used many straighteners and never has one given me a problem like this one did. I'm not the kind of person to complain and I see that this straightener got pretty good reviews, and I'm glad it worked for so many people. I just want to let everyone who reads this know that it doesn't work for everyone and I'm going to pay for the damage it did to my hair for a long time.

wow, this hairstraightener, i have had FOREVER. and it still works as great as the first day i got it. its AMAZING. i dont ever want to buy a new hair straightener.
